The agreement between you and WeReportYourRent.
Last updated: October 31, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you ("you," "your," "Customer") and JD Network Consulting LLC, doing business as WeReportYourRent ("WeReportYourRent," "we," "us," "our").
By creating an account, clicking "Start $1 Trial," or using any part of our website or service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
You should read these Terms in full. The most important sections — particularly Section 3 (Trial & Billing), Section 9 (No Credit Guarantee), and Section 12 (Arbitration) — affect your legal rights.
To create an account you must:
One account per person. We may suspend or close any account we reasonably believe has been opened with false information, used to commit fraud, or used to report rent the account holder does not actually pay.
Plain-English Summary
By completing signup and clicking the "Start $1 Trial" (or equivalent) button, you authorize WeReportYourRent and its payment processor (Stripe) to:
The amount you will be charged after the trial depends on the plan you selected at signup:
| Plan | Today | After the trial ends | Billing Cycle |
|---|---|---|---|
| Essentials | $1.00 | $8.95 | Monthly, auto-renew |
| Basic | $1.00 | $19.99 | Monthly, auto-renew |
| Premium | $1.00 | $39.99 | Monthly, auto-renew |
All amounts are in U.S. Dollars. Prices do not include any state or local taxes that may apply.
To avoid being charged the monthly subscription rate, you must cancel before your trial ends (7 days after your $1.00 payment; the exact date is in your confirmation email). You can cancel in either of these ways:
Your cancellation takes effect when we receive your request, whether or not we have sent you a confirmation yet. We will send a confirmation email once it is processed; if you do not receive one, please contact us so we can confirm it for your records.
The $1.00 Trial Activation Fee is non-refundable, even if you cancel during the trial. This fee covers the identity-verification, lease-verification, and bureau-onboarding work we perform as soon as you sign up.
If the initial $1.00 charge fails, your trial will not start and your account will not be activated. If a renewal charge fails after the trial, we will retry the charge up to three times over five days. If all retries fail, your subscription will be paused and we will stop reporting new payments to bureaus until billing is restored.
We may change our subscription pricing in the future. If we do, we will notify you by email at least 30 days before the new price takes effect, and you will have the opportunity to cancel before being charged the new rate.
You can cancel your subscription at any time from your dashboard or by emailing support. There are no cancellation fees or long-term contracts.
What happens when you cancel:

WeReportYourRent currently offers three plans. Every plan includes rent reporting to Experian, TransUnion, and Equifax and up to 24 months of past rent reported (subject to verification).
You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time from your dashboard. Upgrades take effect immediately and are prorated; downgrades take effect at the start of the next billing period.
Our service involves two separate permissions under the federal Fair Credit Reporting Act (15 U.S.C. § 1681 et seq.). They are described separately below.
(a) Consent to obtain your credit report (through CRS). You authorize us, under FCRA § 604(a)(2), to obtain your consumer credit report and credit score through our credit-data partner, CRS, so we can show them to you in your dashboard and verify your identity. For this we use your name, date of birth, address and, where requested at the identity-verification step on your dashboard, your Social Security Number.
(b) Authorization to report your rent (through Piñata). Separately, you authorize us and our rent-reporting partner, Piñata, to:
We only report positive payments. We do not report missed payments, late payments, partial payments, or balances owed. If a payment is missed, we simply do not report that month — nothing negative is sent to the bureaus.
You can withdraw either authorization at any time by cancelling your subscription. Withdrawal does not require us to delete data already reported, which remains on your credit file according to bureau retention rules.
If you believe reported rent data is inaccurate, you have the right under the FCRA to dispute it. You can file a dispute directly with the bureau — your dashboard's Disputes tab explains exactly how — or contact Piñata at support@pinata.ai for credit reporting inquiries. Disputes are investigated within the time limits the FCRA sets.
You agree not to:
We may suspend or terminate accounts we reasonably believe have violated these rules, and we may report fraud to bureaus, law enforcement, and Stripe.
The WeReportYourRent name, logo, website, software, copy, design, and underlying technology are owned by WeReportYourRent and are protected by U.S. copyright, trademark, and other intellectual-property laws.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the service for its intended purpose while your subscription is active. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of any part of the service without our prior written permission.
You retain ownership of the information you submit to the service. Lease documents are provided directly to our bureau-certified verification partner inside their embedded component — they are never uploaded to or stored on our servers. For information you do submit to us (such as profile and lease details), you grant us a license to use it solely to provide the service.
We do not guarantee any specific credit-score outcome. Credit scores depend on many factors that are outside our control, including your existing credit history, your other tradelines, the bureau and scoring model used, and your overall financial behavior. Adding on-time rent reporting helps many people, but results vary.
The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that reported data will be reflected on every bureau report by a specific date. Reporting cycles depend on the bureaus' own update schedules.
Student Loan Aid. The Student Loan Aid add-on is not currently offered or sold. Any savings figure shown in connection with it is an illustrative example, not a projection or guarantee of your own result.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event will WeReportYourRent, its officers, employees, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data, or damage to your credit, arising out of or related to your use of the service.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of these Terms or the service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) $100.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of certain damages, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless WeReportYourRent and its officers, employees, and affiliates from any claim, demand, loss, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of (a) your breach of these Terms, (b) your violation of any law or third-party right, or (c) your submission of false or misleading information to the service.
Please read this section carefully — it affects your legal rights.
Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the service will be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, rather than in court, with the following exceptions:
You and WeReportYourRent agree to bring claims only in an individual capacity, not as a plaintiff or class member in any class, consolidated, or representative action.
30-Day Opt-Out: You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by emailing legal@wereportyourrent.com within 30 days of creating your account, with the subject line "Arbitration Opt-Out" and your full name and account email in the body.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles, except that the Federal Arbitration Act governs Section 12 (Arbitration). The FCRA and other applicable federal consumer-protection laws continue to apply regardless of this choice of law. Nothing in this section takes away any protection that the consumer-protection or privacy laws of the state where you live give you and that cannot be waived by agreement.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we will tell you at least 30 days before it takes effect, unless the law requires a different notice period, by email and by a notice in your account, and we will post the updated Terms here with a new "Last updated" date.
Material changes take effect for an existing account only when you accept them. We will ask you to accept the updated Terms in your account, and we keep a record of the version you accepted and when. If you do not agree, you may cancel your subscription before the change takes effect and you will not be charged under the new Terms.
Changes to pricing, cancellation, how we use your data, or your authorization for us to obtain your credit report may need your separate consent. We will ask for that consent separately and will not treat continued use as consent. A new or changed credit-report authorization is always requested on its own.
